Vince
Vince loves to laugh. His easy-going teaching style is punctuated with humor and lightness, creating classes that are fun, gratifying and educational. Vince invites his students to safely explore their limitless capabilities without judgment or competition, and celebrates their efforts. In every class, students experience his warm, inspired joy and leave feeling refreshed and alive.
Vince began his yoga practice in 2001 and is 500-hour certified to teach Hatha yoga. His formal training was with the Amrit Yoga Institute in Ocala, Florida, and he is YogaFit and Reiki certified. After 30 years in international banking, Vince pursued a long-term goal by opening My Yoga Place. As a co-owner, Vince now has the opportunity to share with the community his extensive knowledge and some of the very same rewards he has experienced with his yoga practice as he continues to deepen his own education through his teachings.

Marianne
Marianne has a way of making everyone who attends her classes feel comfortable and appreciated, without being singled out. Although she encourages students to move towards their potential in the physical postures, she helps them approach the practice with a peaceful awareness instead of competitiveness. Laughter is often a key ingredient in her class, as she guides students to understand that yoga is not just about the physical practice, but also about a commitment to a positive, life-altering experience.
Marianne began her practice in 2005 and is 200-hour certified to teach Hatha yoga. Her formal training was with Lotus Gardens in Sherman, Connecticut, and she is YogaFit and Reiki certified. After 16 years in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries, together with Vince and armed with a strong determination to share their belief in the practice of yoga, My Yoga Place was developed. As a co-owner of My Yoga Place, Marianne enjoys being able to share her enthusiasm and exceptional yoga instruction within the warm and welcoming atmosphere that she and Vince had only once envisioned.
